Deborah Flores Narvaez: Shocking News About the Missing Showgirl

Julie Ryan Evans

Debbie Fores-NarvaezAs the search for missing Vegas showgirl Debbie Flores-Narvaez continues, more disturbing details about the case and her relationship with ex-boyfriend Blu Griffith continue to be collected. The two latest shockers: In October, Griffith was arrested for domestic-violence-related battery, and Narvaez was pregnant at the time.

That certainly casts a new light on previous suspicions that she may have been a victim of a deranged fan.

Griffith was supposed to appear in court this morning for the domestic violence charges, but according to RadarOnline, he was a no-show. According to police documents, Griffith forced Narvaez to the ground, kicked her, and pulled her hair ... all because of a fight over her phone.

So after hearing of the charges against Griffith and the fact she was supposedly pregnant with his baby, one might automatically shift suspicion toward him. But a text she sent her mother on December 1 adds a strange twist.

"In case there is ever an emergency with me, contact Blu Griffith in Vegas. My ex-boyfriend. Not my best friend," her mother recounted for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I asked Debbie what it means, and she says 'never mind, mommy. Just keep it for your records,'" she continued.

If she was afraid of him, why would she tell her mother to contact him in an emergency? And why NOT her best friend?

Hopefully, Flores-Narvaez is just dealing with some kind of emotional turmoil and has taken off to sort through things. Hopefully she just needs time to deal with her pregnancy or her former relationship, and will be back soon. Hopefully her fate won't be as frightening as some of these details might suggest.
