It never fails. Based on the trailers, I always go see the Transformers movies, and then immediately about 20 minutes in, I always regret it. Mostly because Megan Fox just got on my nerves with her bad acting and pouty looks, but it never held up to my expectations. I mean, come on, this is Transformers we're talking about!
Now that the Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon trailer is out, I can start the cycle all over again. But weirdly enough, instead of being a preview to the film, it more or less shows just the first part of it.
The trailer shows the astronauts during the 1969 moon landing as they investigate the remains of a Cybertronian spacecraft on the moon. A few holy shit gasps from the crew in Houston. And that's it.
No Sam. No Bumblebee. NO OPTIMUS PRIME!
Seriously, how can you have a Transformers trailer and not show any of the Transfomers?
I want to see some action! Some machines crushing bridges, throwing cars, something. Even a quick shot of cutie Shia LaBeouf would've made this better.
Unless they come out with another trailer, I won't even be tempted to go see this movie. But, considering it's not being released in theaters until July 1, I'm sure they will uncover a little bit more about the movie. Which will, of course, cause me to go see it.
At least Megan Fox isn't in this one.
Does this trailer make you want to see the movie?
