Nate & Michael WestenLast night's episode of Burn Notice, "Brotherly Love," was as gushy as the title implies.
Michael's brother Nate comes to town to help a pair of brothers get back their stolen cars. When it turns out that one of the stolen cars had a bunch of heroin in it, Michael takes on the job with baby bro. It's a good thing they're on the case because I wouldn't want to mess with the drug kingpin, Hector.
Actually, that's a complete lie because Hector has to be the wimpiest drug lord ever. I'm fairly certain I could take him on in a fight, which is probably why he has a greasy, sleazy partner in crime, Caleb. One guess as to who stole the cars and the drugs ...
If you said Caleb, you're absolutely right! DING DING DING!
Caleb tries to pin it on the brothers, but Nate and Fi get the car on Caleb's property instead. Hector seems to take the whole betrayal thing well, but then tells Michael that he should go because he doesn't want to see what's about to go down. (I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud. Seriously, this guy is the definition of puny.)
But all's well because Nate's having a baby, and he and Michael love each other. Awwww.
There wasn't much time spent on the main story arc, in which Sam and Jesse head to the Dominican Republic to intercept the file of the people who burned Michael. They try to get the job done alone because they think it's dangerous for Michael. But, of course, it turns out that it's not a two-man job, so Michael and Fi fly on in and save the day.
Michael's monologue at the end is about working together as a team, and it's all very cute and lovey-dovey. Double awwww.
They head home and, after confirming that the file is real (because I guess they couldn't do that while still in DR?), they try to figure out where to go from here. Sam wants to turn it in and have the authorities take care of it, but Fi wants to track the people down and get revenge. What to do? DUN DUN DUNNNNN!
Do you think Michael will turn in the file or seek revenge?
