Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are the obvious stars of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. But the HP franchise as a whole is famous for stacking its cast with talented supporting actors and even some surprising cameos.
Have you ever watched a HP movie and thought to yourself: "Where have I seen that actor before?" Well, then, this post is for you ...
Check out this list to see where else you might have seen the talented supporting cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
Maggie Smith -- otherwise known as everyone's favorite Professor Minerva McGonagall -- has literally been acting forever. She was Mother Superior in Sister Act I and II, Constance Trentham in Gosford Park, Lady Greshem in Becoming Jane -- and that's only a tiny snippet her impressive resume.
Helena Bonham Carter, who plays the evil Bellatrix Lestrange, is also everywhere -- from Alice in Wonderland and Sweeney Todd to Big Fish and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Why does Lucius Malfoy look so familiar? That's because actor Jason Isaacs is no stranger to the big and small screens; his credits include Resident Evil, Black Hawk Down, The Patriot, and even appearances on The West Wing and Entourage.
Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, starred alongside Jodie Foster in Anna and the King. (Can't remember? It helps if you picture him as an 11-year-old.)
Have you seen Enchanted? Timothy Spall, or Wormtail, plays an equally villainous role.
One of my very favorite movies of all time, Love Actually, is jam-packed with Harry Potter actors including Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour), Alan Rickman (Professor Snape), and Emma Thomson (Professor Trelawney).
Julie Walters, or the lovable Molly Weasley, can also be seen in Mamma Mia!, Becoming Jane, and Billy Elliot.
Who's your favorite supporting character in the Harry Potter movies?
