Justin Timberlake, star of The Social Network, met Daily Show correspondent Olivia Munn at a MySpace event in September, according to US Weekly. Munn initially rebuffed Timberlake's advances, but the persistent singer gave chase and they reportedly hooked up at the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel in New York City a day later. (A day later? That was a chase? 24 measly hours?)
If this is true, I know that everyone must be feeling pretty sorry for Jessica right now. And rightfully so. But isn't it heartbreaking to all women when one of the supposedly good ones goes bad?
This isn't the first time my heart has been broken over alleged celebrity affairs. The perfect couple turns out not to be. The rock steady guy or gal is neither rock nor steady.
In a reversal of roles, a young (and we thought naive) Britney Spears supposedly cheated on Timberlake when they were dating, inspiring his hit song Cry Me A River.
Brad Pitt was rumored to have had an affair with Angelina Jolie during the making of Mr. & Mrs Smith in 2005 .... while he was still very much married to Jennifer Aniston.
Ryan Philippe supposedly cheated on the ever-adorable Reese Witherspoon with Abbie Cornish. And then reportedly turned around and did the same thing to Cornish. (Can you say "serial cheater"?)
The most famous cheater of them all? Former President Bill Clinton, who admitted to oval office shenanigans with then-intern Monica Lewinsky.
R&B star Eric Benet reportedly fooled around on gorgeous Halle Berry.
And the Jesse James/Sandra Bullock debacle hurt because we love Sandra so much.
Sean Penn is rumored to have cheated on Robin Wright Penn with Natalie Portman. Natalie? Robin? Two of my favorite ladies. A whole mess of wrong going on with this one.
I could go on and on...
What about you? Were there any cheating celebrity rumors that hurt?
