Those Hills girls just won't go away (not that I'm complaining).
Fans of Audrina Patridge were crushed last night when she was ousted from Dancing With the Stars despite having the second highest score. But this morning they learned there was a silver lining to the upset: The star will produce and star in a new reality show on VH1.
I bet you're just dying to know what Audrina's new show will feature ...
According to MTV, the show will follow Audrina and her family as she pursues an acting career and is scheduled to begin filming early next year. She explains:
Everything that people have wondered about me, they'll now get to see! And I hope [my partner] Tony [Dovolani] will be on it! I'd love to make some trips to New York to see him because we are such good friends now!
Sounds fascinating, doesn't it? I'm hoping it's a full hour segment!
Call it a coincidence but Audrina's former Hills co-star Lauren Conrad also has a new MTV show in the works, which will focus on her new fashion line and, if Lauren herself is to be believed, may even include a few familiar faces:
I'm excited because I get to work with some of my old crew, which is really cool ... I already have a couple of the guys from 'The Hills.'
Looks like some things never change. Props to Audrina and Lauren for never, ever being afraid to beat the dead horse that is reality TV. I, for one, am excited at the thought that we might just be watching the "real lives" of these two for the next 50 years.
Whose show are you more excited about: Audrina's or Lauren's?
