Just when you thought the whole Tiger Woods saga couldn't get any worse . . . lo and behold, it did.
We start this story with the thrilling fact that there is a porn star named Devon James who claims she made a sex tape with Tiger. James and her husband Nick have launched a website to market this video, promising a 62-minute audio-visual treat of Tiger sinking his . . . ah . . . putt . . . in her . . . green. Or something that's more golf-accurate, I don't really know the sport.
James is promoting pre-orders of the tape, even though no proof has been shown that Tiger's actually in it. For $29.95, buyers can purchase something that will reportedly ship on November 15th.
A vague Tiger-lookalike named Teneal Goyco has come forward to state that it's not Tiger's . . . um, 9-iron . . . in the movie, it's Teneal's, saying he was paid $1,000 to film sex scenes with Devon James on camera. He claims he had no knowledge of Devon's plans to market the tape at the time, telling RadarOnline.com,
"I was in it to make a couple bucks and have sex with a pretty lady. I just thought I was fulfilling this woman’s fantasy of having sex with Tiger Woods, as she had said she wanted. I had no idea she was going to set up a tape of Tiger Woods. I wanted to make some money -- not ruin someone's life.”
Devon and her husband have lashed out against Goyco, in a fairly disgusting Facebook exchange that included several racist slurs from Nick. Nick and Devon claim they never met Goyco and that they—of COURSE—plan to sue.
The awesome part of the whole tape-selling scam? It totally doesn't matter if Tiger's in the video or not. (Which: duh, I'm pretty sure he isn't.) According to RadarOnline.com, the terms of the contract for pre-ordering this so-called sex video include the clause, "The Company may, at any time and at its sole discretion, cancel any release of the video."
Well, Tiger, what's the saying? You lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas? Here's hoping you keep your . . . wood in your bag from now on.
