This week's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians was basically one big advertisement for new girl band BG5 with some relationship drama between Rob Kardashian and Malika Haqq thrown in to break it up a bit.
BG5 stands for the five beach girls who make up the band and are about to embark on a worldwide tour. Kris Jenner was asked to co-mange the group, and spent most of the episode dramatically agonizing as to if she could take them on in addition to managing the careers of all of the rest of her family members.
Never mind the fact that she has no experience in the music industry.
Of course, she said yes in the end, because why else would they have forked over most of the episode to highlighting the girls and their music?
And while Jenner is overbearing and obnoxious, I wouldn't underestimate her abilities because somehow "Kardashian" has become a household name for ... uh, why again are any of them famous?
So maybe with a real genre, like singing, to work with Jenner will be even more successful. She certainly gave them a good head start tonight.
The rest of the show centered around the love life of Rob Kardashian who recently split from Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Bailon.
After Khloe relentlessly and graphically teased and tormented Rob and her best friend and assistant, Malika Haqq, about having romantic feelings for one another, they decided -- in typical Kardashian fashion -- to teach her a lesson.
They proceed to date and kiss and cuddle in an attempt to gross out Khloe. While she feigned disgust over the idea of the two of them together, calling it "incest", she was clearly never fooled.
But Rob and Malika may be fooling themselves about their real feelings for each other, because they are cute together. There seemed to be some real chemistry there, and I wouldn't be surprised if their joke turns into more somewhere down the line.
But it may be awhile down the line as reports of Rob and Demi Lavato have been popping up.
Whoever ends up with Rob Kardashian in the end had better be one tough chick -- can you imagine all those Kardashian girls as sister-in-laws? Or worse, Kris Jenner as a mother-in-law?
Did you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Thoughts?
