Spencer Pratt has issued an apology to his (supposedly) soon-to-be-ex-wife Heidi Montag for all he done wrong.
His heartfelt admission, in his own words:
"I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies."
Sounds almost -- not quite, but almost sincere. He readily admits wrongdoing and takes full responsibility. I like that. Makes him seem almost -- no quite, but almost human.
So how did the notorious famewhore deliver this mea culpa?
Did he call her? Nope. Write a long, heartfelt, tear-stained letter? Wrong again.
He sent his warm, oh-so-personal plea for forgiveness through the pages of People magazine.
Publicity stunt #2,487. Sigh.
Listen, this guy has a laundry list of things to be remorseful for. He's reportedly shopping a sex tape of his wife around. He tweets nasty things about her. He's alienated her from many, many people.
But once again, it's probably not true. The fame-seeking duo was recently spotted in Costa Rica together, so the whole notion of divorce is probably a sham. Who knows if they're even married?
I'll never understand the desire to seek fame for fame's sake. The only thing they can possibly get out of it is the attention that narcissists so crave.
What do you think? The divorce, the sex tape, the marriage. Is any of this real?
