Taylor LautnerFor the "emotional distress" of not having his trailer delivered on time, Taylor Lautner has been awarded $40,000 by McMahon's RV. And he didn't even have to do a single push-up to get it.

According to Us, the company agreed to pay the actor for failing to deliver his trailer for the movie Abduction on time. The owner had originally proposed a push-up competition to settle the dispute.

Lautner is planning to donate the money to The Lollipop Theater Network, an organization that brings movies to sick children across the country.

A nice move by Lautner, but I'm a little bitter that he won the lawsuit.

I've worked with many businesses that don't follow through on what they say they will do. My current beef is with the company that makes the uniform shirts for my son's school. When I ordered them three plus weeks ago, they said they would arrive in no more than two weeks.

I'm left washing them same two WHITE shirts over and over again, while the shirst don't show up. I've called and gotten nothing more than a lukewarm apology and the explanation that things just got backed up.

While the $25 shirt isn't a $300,000 trailer, it's the same principle and most of us encounter delays and disappointment from businesses all the time. And we don't sue them, we just make do and take our business elsewhere the next time (if we can -- this happens to be the only company I can get my son's shirts from).

I'm glad he was able to make a company take accountability for their actions (they should!), but I also find it a little diva-like too (which he denies). It's not like he wasn't going to be able to make his movie without it, he just might not have been so comfortable doing so.

So congratulations to Lautner I guess, who's clearly more powerful than most. I'm just bummed we didn't get to see a push-up contest.
