Paris HiltonEven though poor Paris Hilton thought the cocaine in a purse that "wasn't hers" was gum, she and her man Cy Waits are paying a pretty hefty price for their partying problem in Vegas this past weekend.

While Hilton has escaped punishment for her multiple escapades as an international pothead previously, this time she doesn't seem to be getting off so easily.

For one, she was BANNED from two Vegas hotels -- the Wynn (where she was busted) and Encore, another Wynn property. The irony of a hotel heiress being banned from hotels is just too perfect.

As for Waits, he was FIRED from his job at the Wynn Resort.

“Cy Waits has been separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests,” the Wynn Resort said in a statement. 

Of course, since his job was in promotions, and the Wynn's name has been promoted all over the place after this incident, he may just want to add his arrest to his resume.

But it actually could get even more serious. Hilton faces felony drug possession charges, which could result in up to four years in prison.

Now that's some hard time, the likes of which has some serious "Just Say No" potential.

While it was originally thought she'd likely get off with some probation, it sounds like the district attorney, David Roger, may have plans otherwise.

“Roger won't tolerate celebrities coming to Las Vegas and thinking they can get away with illegal behavior,” a source "close to the case" told RadarOnline.com. “It's going to be extremely difficult for Paris to get out of these charges, even with the brilliant legal skills of her lawyer, David Chesnoff.”

I can't imagine Paris Hilton in prison for that long, and that seems like a pretty steep price to pay. But it would certainly send a pretty strong message that she clearly hasn't gotten yet.
