The troubled star spills all to Vanity Fair. And it ain't pretty. Here are some highlights.
Lohan believes that she is a good actress who has made some dumb mistakes. (Probably true.)
She doesn't believe that she's an alcoholic. (Probably not true.)
According to Lohan, if she were an addict, putting on the SCRAM bracelet would have sent her into detox. (Definitely not true.)
And, in her own words:
"I want my career back. I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, so be it. It's not fun anyway."
Uh, Lindsay, you've already been spotted out clubbing more than once since your aborted rehab stint. Just how serious are you?
This girl need a big fat reality check.
I think what frightens me most about Lohan is the absolute lack of ownership to anything she's done.
She claims she's been young and stupid. Well, we all have.
She claims she's had a lousy childhood. A lot of people have.
Her dad sucks. Her mom sucks. The paparazzi suck. Sigh ....
Lindsay, none of this changes the fact that you have to own up to the things that you do. Your parents, the paparazzi, or Hollywood didn't make you drive under the influence. You and you alone did.
If you don't change your lifestyle, you will never get better.
If you don't admit that you have a problem, you will never solve it.
Do you think Lindsay Lohan is failing to take responsibility for her actions?
