Sean Penn's divorce with Robin Wright Penn was finalized earlier this month, and he's celebrating by channeling his inner Susan Boyle and sporting bright red lipstick, long earrings, and big, teased hair.
He's actually shooting a scene for his new movie This Must Be the Place, but I must say, red's a good color for him.
Even though it may not be the reason for divorce (or celebration afterwards), here are five other famous divorcees who went drag:
Robin Williams: In his best Julia Child voice, Robin Williams played Daniel Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire, who dressed as an old lady just to be near his kids. Hopefully, Williams was as good of a father in real life to his kids with ex-wives Valerie Velardi and Marsha Garces.
Eddie Murphy: Eddie enjoys taking on multiple roles in films -- even if it means being a female. His latest lady role was Rasputia in Norbit. Murphy has had about as much drama as roles he plays, and it all seemed to have started with his divorce from Nicole Mitchell in 1988.
Dustin Hoffman: Hoffman stars in Tootsie as actor Michael Dorsey, who, when he realizes that he's washed up, turns himself into a lady and becomes the biggest actress in showbiz. Though he was married to his current wife, Lisa Gottsegen, when he made this film, he had formerly been married to Anne Byrne, with whom he has two kids.
Johnny Depp: Depp stars in Ed Wood, a true story about a quirky filmmaker who enjoyed dressing in women's clothing. "I like to dress in women's clothing. Panties, sweaters, pumps, it's just something I do." I think it's safe to say that none of Depp's relationships, including his marriage to Lori Anne Allison, ended due to his wardrobe choices.
Martin Lawrence: Lawrence has both taken on the lady role Big Momma twice and been married twice ... coincidence? He resumes the role again in the third installment, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, which hits theaters in February. Hopefully that doesn't mean anything for his marriage.
