In the season finale of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, Kourtney Kardashian leaves Miami and Scott Disick ... sort of.
For weeks after the mirror-punching incident, Kourtney has stayed clear of Disick, her a-hole baby daddy (if you want an unbiased report when it comes to him, you won't get it here, sorry). But as her departure from Miami nears, she feels the need to meet with him to see where they go next ... and if they'll go together.
Disick has been in therapy, and at first seems to have made some progress. But it quickly becomes apparent that it's all talk, and he's as screwed up as ever.
When Kourtney goes to his apartment to share her feelings with him, he interrupts her, dismisses her, and acts like a "douche" and a "dick" (her words), and then some.
Just when it looks like she and Mason are moving out of Miami without him, he calls. It's literally an hour before they take off, a car is downstairs waiting, and he shows up for the dramatic conclusion.
Once again he acts contrite; once again he apologizes with some tears that appear no more real than the fact that he just happened to show up at that exact time.
Kourtney tells him once again that he needs to take care of himself before he can be in their life, blah, blah, blah, instead of telling him off. But at least she doesn't cave and agree to let him go with them.
"I don't know the next time I'm gonna see him or what the next step is ..." she tells Khloe in the car.
Scott was left lying in the bed with one of Mason's shoes, eking out a few more tears.
I started to feel just a little bit hopeful that perhaps once and for all she really was leaving him for good, finally ... until I remembered recent reports (since the filming commenced) that say the couple is in "a good place."
We'll see how long that lasts.
