The instigator at workIt turns out that all conflict can fit into one of three categories: man vs. nature, man vs. self, and Knight vs. everyone. This week on The Real World: New Orleans, Knight spared few roommates from his rampage of sarcasm and cheap digs.
Lets take a look at the Wisconsinite's main targets.
Knight vs Preston: Knight tore into Preston right off the bat for wearing a wig. I don't know what world Knight lives in, but these days, celebrating Lady Gaga with a studded blazer and some eye glitter is as American as processed yellow cheese. Plus, if Knight was offended by that look, he's lucky Preston didn't try to re-create the torn fishnet ensemble that Gaga wore last weekend at Lollapalooza.
Knight vs Sahar: At first it looked like Sahar could hold her own here. The comment about his gapped teeth, his belly -- I really thought she had it. But then Knight had to go below the belt and bring up Sahar's philandering love interest. It was a low blow on Knight's part, but still, I was disappointed that Sahar let him take it.
Knight vs Jemmye: Ooh, this one was painful. Knight calling Jemmye "ho" was bad enough, but watching Jemmye fail to stick up for herself was just plain brutal. Judging from next week's preview, it looks like this crazy train has just barely left the station.
On a side note, is Mckenzie the new Jared? Clearly Subway is a sponsor this season, but nobody else seemed to be trying to plug the sub shop. It's just a little suspicious that midday McKenzie would exclaim, "I like that they have breakfast here! Doesn't the breakfast look so good?" And then later she said, "Anyone wanna try the soup? It's really good." Hopefully she's getting some free combo meals out of it.
In the beginning of the season, it looked like Ryan would be the main instigator, but now Knight seems to be taking that role. Is Knight the dark horse d-bag in the house?
Did you watch The Real World this week? Is Knight the troublemaker in the bunch?
