All my fantasies involving soccer hottie Cristiano Ronaldo have vanished after reading British model Jasmine Lennard's shameless (not to mention prolific!) account of their one-night stand and subsequent feverish relationship over text message.
Either Ronaldo isn't quite the sexy, self-assured, tough guy he'd like us to believe he is, or this woman is a liar liar pants on fire ...
For one thing, though Ronaldo may bed a lot of women, Lennard was neither impressed by his wooing style ...
Typically Ron will not approach a woman himself, preferring instead to send one of his merry men to do his dirty work for him while he watches on, flashes a toothy smile, and offers an arrogant wink in their direction.
... nor his skills between the sheets (although she almost gives him a compliment):
Things [in bed] went from bad to worse fast ... Soon after entering the bedroom, I did indeed catch sight of the REAL Ronaldo. Now, while a lot of women appreciate a well-endowed man, this was just -- RIDICULOUS ... intimidatingly so. “Oh for God’s sake,” I thought, “let’s get this over with” -- although I wondered how long that would take. Not long was the answer ...
And while she was touched to see his softer side -- being sad about his father's death, his mother's battle with cancer -- she became frustrated with his tantrums and his constant need for attention:
Receiving up to 15 messages a day from him, it was exhausting trying to please him/entertain him/keep him satisfied. This all became too much for me as he started to throw tantrums when I wasn’t able to provide the constant attention he wanted.
Finally, she shares this less-than-flattering anecdote (and, I've been trying to get it out of my head ever since):
As soon as he encountered my German Shepherd dogs and started screaming and waving his crutches at them in total panic and fear I realised perhaps this wasn’t going to be Mr Right.
Her account makes him sound like a spoiled bratty child -- not the sexy, chiseled, gorgeous, confident hunk we've come to see on TV and love.
Still, I can't help but wonder how much of this story is actually true. Wouldn't publishing a bunch of unflattering lies be the perfect way for a fame-hungry jilted lover to get revenge? She is friends with Paris Hilton after all ...
Do you think there's any truth to Lennard's story? Does this change your perception of Cristiano Ronaldo?
