Ladies first, indeed. Last night Lauren was the first contestant who was told that she would be moving forward to the SYTYCD finale. After that I pretty much went deaf and didn't care about who else moved forward -- as long as it wasn't Ade'Chike'. Don't get me wrong, he's a sweet guy, very respectful, and a phenomenal dancer. But he just didn't hold a candle to the other three contestants.
I am happy with the results and am very excited to see what they bring us next week. My prediction is a balls-to-the-wall performance on every end. I'm most excited to see the best performances of episodes past; they never seem to disappoint when it comes to highlighting the best of the best.
Tonight's episode featured too many "special performances," if you ask me. Thankfully, I have DVR and I'll be honest, I fast-forwarded through everything that didn't have to do with the contestants dancing and/or their results. I just don't have the patience to sit through Flo Rida doing his thing. There's a time and place for everything, and all my man Flo was doing tonight was standing between me and the results. Love ya Flo, but you gots to go.
My predictions remain the same for next week's finale. I think it will ultimately come down to Lauren and Kent. They are both amazing, but I truly believe that Lauren should win -- and if you ask me, I think the judges would agree. They went ape sh*t when Cat delivered the results and she was safe this week. I don't think I've ever seen them so excited for one particular dancer. I wholeheartedly believe that they want her to win.
We sure know Shankman does. He admitted to saying a prayer last night for her to make it to the finale. Dude, just drop to one knee and propose already -- that she work with you, that is. We all know she's not your type -- in that she's a girl and all.
Can't wait for next week!
