Well, some Internet pirates thought they were being pretty darn sneaky by leaking a poor-quality version of Taylor Swift's single "Mine," the first from her new album Speak Now, before it was officially released.
But instead of fighting back, Taylor's crew just said to hell with it and pushed up the release date of the single by 12 days.
And it's already #1 on iTunes. Who has the last laugh now?
The song is typical Taylor, upbeat pop-country tune about love, which, of course, I've already downloaded off iTunes. It's about finding someone that gets you to "believe" in love. She recently told MTV:
"The song is sort of about finding the exception to that and finding someone who would make you believe in love and realize that it could work out, because I'm never ever going to go past hoping that love works out."
The full album is set to release October 25 ... as long as no one leaks it first.
Listen to the single here and tell me what you think!
