If you blinked, you might have missed the short retirement of 24-year-old actress Amanda Bynes. Only a month ago, she tweeted, "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem. If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it."
Surprise, surprise, on Friday, she announced her big comeback with a simple tweet: "I've unretired."
Tip for Amanda -- you may want to be gone long enough for us to miss you before you come back to work.
I'm thinking that her original choice to retire was a rash decision. Some producer pissed her off and, being a dramatic 20-something, she reacted without thinking. Glad to know that with enough money you can come back to your job that easily.
It also might've been publicity for a new movie she has coming out, Easy A (for which she later tweeted the YouTube trailer link).
What do you think was the original reason for Amanda's retirement? Are you shocked to see her back so soon?
