Drew BreesIt was a big night for the New Orleans Saints and Who Dats everywhere as the team cleaned up at the ESPY Awards 2010 Wednesday night .

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees was named male athlete of the year, and also took home awards for best championship performance and best NFL player.

The Saints were named best team.

"We were playing more than just football," coach Sean Payton said during his acceptance speech. "We were playing for the region, for our city, beginning in 2006 after [Hurricane] Katrina and culminating this February in Miami."

Skier Lindsey Vonn was named female athlete of the year and best female Olympian.

In golf, five-time winner Tiger Woods was denied this year, and Phil Mickelson stepped into the spot of best male golfer

Host Seth Meyers, of course, couldn't let mention of Tiger slide without some acknowledgement.

"Everyone, give it up for Tiger Woods, if you haven't already," Meyers said.

Landon Donovan scored when it came to soccer. He received awards for best moment in a World Cup game against Algeria, best MLS player and the performance under pressure award.
