Did you see this coming?
It seems that Lindsay Lohan has more in common these days with former BFF Paris Hilton than just being a regular on the Hollywood party circuit!
You've probably heard by now that Lindsay was recently sentenced to a 90-day jail sentence plus another 90 days in rehab. And you may remember that back in 2007, Paris was sentenced to a 45-day jail term for violating her probation as well!
You would think that being a celebrity would make your life easier, but apparently not because a lot of celebs get thrown in jail!
In 2000, Robert Downey Jr. was released from jail in Los Angeles after serving three and a half months for a probation violation, following a 1996 conviction on drug charges. His next stop: a court-ordered stay in rehab.
Nicole Richie was sentenced to four days in jail as a result of her arrest by California Highway Patrol officers. She was driving the wrong way on the freeway after using marijuana and Vicodin -- although she only served 82 minutes before being released.
Rapper Lil Wayne was arrested in 2007 for gun possession in New York. He struck a deal with prosecutors: He pled guilty to a reduced charge and is now serving a sentence of up to 10 months in prison (with the possibility of an early release after eight months for good behavior).
Actor Wesley Snipes was convicted of three counts of willfully failing to file tax returns. Snipes got three years but was acquitted of five other charges -- including felony tax fraud and conspiracy -- that would've exposed him to 13 more years in prison!
Singer Boy George was sentenced to 15 months in jail on Friday after being convicted of falsely imprisoning a male escort.
I'm sure these celebrities won't be the last ones to wind up on the wrong side of the law.
Why do you think it's so easy for celebs like these to get into so much trouble?
