M. Night Shyamalan, whose most recent film The Last Airbender is getting not-so-great reviews, has always directed movies that were a little, well, different, and almost all of them flopped -- the two exceptions being The Sixth Sense and Signs. But goodness, those movies were a decade ago. I couldn't tell you what happened in The Happening, and the only thing that I remember about Lady in the Water is that woman rising out of the pool ... and that's only because it was so dang freaky looking.
But even though his movies, for lack of a better term, suck, he's still getting big names to sign on to his projects. His next film has three big stars loosely attached to it: Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Bruce Willis.
Not even sure if Bradley's cute face or Bruce and Gwyneth's fierce acting could make a Shyamalan movie worth sitting through. But, hey, maybe the weird twist at the end -- is that it's actually good.
Do you like any of M. Night Shyamalan's movies? Which one is your favorite?
