If you haven't yet seen the brand new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, you should know that in addition to containing several big plot spoilers, it's intensely dark and twisty. Between the creepy music and high-drama fight scenes, literally, it sent chills down my spine. Consider yourself warned: This movie is not for the faint of heart.
In between all the insanity, we are reminded that the final cinematic installment of the Harry Potter series will be broken into two parts ...
Part 1 is due out in November 2010; Part 2 in July 2011.
I just don't think I can wait that long! I guess Eclipse will have to keep me entertained until then. *Eye roll.*
I did have two issues with the HP trailer: One, it made me excited for the movie, of course, but ultimately depressed that we're nearing the end of the story. I felt the exact same way after watching The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King -- what is there left to look forward to in life pop-culturally speaking? (And, yes, I'm a complete dork.)
Two, the trailer's "helpful" suggestion that I "complete the journey in 3D" irked me a little. I just don't get that excited about 3D movies; sometimes the special effects take away from the great story. Am I alone here?
What do you think about the new Harry Potter trailer? Are you so excited for the final movies?
