'The Bachelorette' Recap: Two More Frozen Out in Iceland

Julie Ryan Evans

Ali Fedotowsky*SPOILER ALERT* Don't read if you don't want to know what happened on The Bachelorette this week.

It was off to Iceland for Ali Fedotowsky and the remaining guys. It would be nice to say that things heated up while they were there, but it was actually a lukewarm episode at best.

There was a poetry contest in which the guys wrote and read some mostly bad poetry to Ali. But by wooing her with prose about her "root-beer" eyes, Kirk was deemed the winner and granted a one-on-one date in which he and Ali went shopping for matching sweaters.

Justin ("Rated R") and Kasey got a two-on-one date, where only one would emerge with the rose.

Before the date Ali said all Kasey had to do was "be normal," but that proved to be too much of a challenge.

Creepy Kasey continued to talk of protecting and honoring Ali's heart (enough already!) and finally revealed his tattoo to the bewildered Bachelorette.

"Thank you, Kasey, for being you," Ali told him. And really, what else was there to say?

Ali gave Justin a rose, and Kasey was left standing cold and alone in Iceland. At least he'll always have the memories ... and the tattoo.

Chris N. was also sent home  -- the only one not to receive a rose at the ceremony.

Still standing: Frank (still my favorite), Roberto (who I think Ali will and probably should end up with), Justin, Kirk, Ty, Chris L., and Craig (who I think looks and acts like he could be her father).

What did you think of The Bachelorette this week?
