Whether the photo of Miley Cyrus's bare nether regions was fake or not, the ramifications for Perez Hilton are becoming very real.
ABC has already pulled ads for The View from his site, according to MSNBC.
"It's not a matter of whether you like (Lavandeira) or not, it has to do with the morality of the issue," an ABC rep told MSNBC. "Miley is a minor, period. There are ethics involved in running an ad on a site that potentially violated the rights of a minor, and that is what the conversation is about at the network level."
Note: Perez Hilton's real name is Mario Lavandeira.
Other advertisers are likely to follow suit.
So where will that land the "Queen of Mean"?
Perhaps in jail say some experts.
"There are laws against putting that kind of stuff on the Internet, and he could be prosecuted," defense attorney Steve Cron told CBS News Correspondent Bill Whitaker.
Psychologist David Swanson told Whitaker the picture in question is "deeply disturbing ... It's child pornography, and it's normalizing the idea of sexualizing young adolescent girls."
How ironic if Hilton and his bestie Lindsay Lohan (who he endlessly mocks) end up in the slammer at the same time?
So what does Miley have to say about the whole scandal?
"That's, like, some idiot being an idiot," she told Ryan Seacrest.
Do you think Perez Hilton faked the photo of Miley? And does that matter when it comes to the ramifications?
