David Hasselhoff is back in Genoa City this week, so be sure and tune in before Dr. William "Snapper" Foster is just a distant memory in The Young and the Restless story line.
I'm getting a big kick out of celebrities heading back to the soaps. While James Franco seems to be kind of a renaissance man with his film to grad school to soap opera schedule, I love this idea of stars returning to their roots.
David Hasselhoff's daughter, Taylor Ann, will make her own soap debut as a nurse working alongside her father in the hospital.
Some more former soap stars I'd love to see back on the small screen:
I remember seeing the often weeping Betsy on As the World Turns as my Grandmother watched "her stories" and babysat. She needs some good publicity too. Meg, it's time!
Another veteran of As the World Turns, Julianne also won an Emmy for her roles as look-alike sisters. I know she could resuscitate both roles. How much fun would that be?
Demi followed the Luke and Laura drama on General Hospital, so she might have been looked over at the time -- so she needs to come back and make her mark. Even better, a co-starring story line with real-life husband, Ashton Kutcher!
Who do you want to see on the soaps?
