I think Christina Aguilera has lost her mojo. Did you see her performance at the MTV Movie Awards (including the light-up heart right above her hoo-hah ... ick)?

Her fourth album, Bionic, hit stores yesterday and was met with a not-so-impressed critique by the media.

She's even had to cancel her summer tour because sales were so weak. Ouch. That's a far cry from her "Genie in a Bottle" days (god I love that song).

Critics have called her out, accusing her of ripping off artists such as Madonna and Lady Gaga in her performances and outfits. I think she's just trying to be creative and do something different, and nothing's wrong with that; it's just not what we're used to seeing from her. For me personally, she's got the chops, and I think she should focus on that -- very few artists out there have the raw singing talent like she does. All of the techno beats in her new music seem to mask it.

I liked her much better when she was singing about self-esteem instead of "if you don't like it then f*** you." Just sayin. So I guess f*** me, then.

What do you think? Do you like the old or new Christina Aguilera better?
