Bret Michaels is back in the hospital. According to his website, the singer suffered a "warning stroke" today.

After experiencing numbness on the left side of his body, tests revealed the stroke (known as Transient Ischemic Attack) and also a hole in Michaels's heart (Patent Foramen Ovale). Neither is believed to be related to the hemorrhage he suffered last month.

Doctors said both conditions are treatable, but he may not make the May 23rd season finale of Celebrity Apprentice or the aggressive comeback tour he planned to begin May 28.

"Without a doubt he is very determined to get healthy and make a 100 percent recovery. Medically speaking it is a fantastic attitude both mentally and physically for him to have," neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Zabramski stated. "However, Bret's brain and body are not quite 100 percent yet, especially with the hole found in his heart."

His representative, Jana Elias, says Michaels is in good spirits.

"He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again."

Best wishes, Bret.
