Photo from Splash NewsWhen the stars of a movie franchise get a raise, don't you think it's fair that the rest of the cast get one as well? Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, who play Emmett and Alice in the Twilight movies, thought so and demanded more money before signing their contracts for Breaking Dawn.
I think that's totally reasonable. But the production company didn't seem to think so.
Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke, said that the duo were at risk of being replaced if they asked for too much: "Ashley and Kellan have agents, managers, lawyers ... you get all of these outside influences telling you that you should hold out for this much because you're such an important part of the franchise," Hardwicke told UsMagazine.com.
Lucky for us Twihards, both parties reached an agreement last night, and Ashley and Kellan will be resuming their vampire roles. Whew! They're so perfect as Alice and Emmett ... I can't imagine Twilight without them.
Good for those two for holding out and getting what they deserve!
What do you think about them asking for more money? Appropriate or greedy? Are you glad they'll be back for Breaking Dawn?
