The couple released the following statement:
"It's impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this. We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella"
Their daughter Ella Bleu is 10 -- and, of course, in January 2009 they lost their son Jett, who was 16 at the time.
While the announcement is wonderful news, it's rife with questions: Is it a biological child? Are they adopting? When is the child expected? Is it even a child? A "new addition" can mean a lot of things.
In any case, it's so nice to see the family expecting such excitement after experiencing so much heartbreak.

I think it's great news for them! They definitely need something like this with all the heartbreak they've experienced in the past year. I like them, even if I'm not on board with their religion, they seem like a very nice, down to earth couple-much better parents than most in Hollywood!
I feel so bad for John Travolta and Kelly for their loss but I am sorry I think its so sick and wrong at their age to have another baby.I am the same age 47 and I am sorry nobody should have a baby at 47.I dont care how healthy you are or whatever its just wrong.Just like it so wrong for people who are married are together and are many years apart in age its just sick.Then John and Kelly acted like this was a big surprise no it wasnt obviously they planned it,they werent using birth control so they knew it would happen.I guess they wanted another child since they lost one.Well whatever the reason I think its so wrong.I would never want a child over 40 the poor kid is gonna have way old parents when he is older and he or she will not like it.So sorry Kelly and John what you are doing is so wrong.
i have mixed emotions about this news. i think kelly preston looks good for her age but 47 yrs old and to have a baby again well it is ok. the only problem is that her age brings alot of risks. i hope her baby is born healthy. i was very affected by jett's passing and still to this day i shed tears when i think about him. he was a handsome boy. i wish the travoltas will come out and speak out publicly about what really happened to jett john has been very private about his son why? i have a 15 yrld with autism and i take my son everywhere. he is my soul. who cares if their lives where on the magazines they are hollywood actors and it comes with a price. they sure did show off the daughter. why not show jett who was such of handsome young boy. whatever their reasons where we should respect them. i wish them the best and if they did neglected jett only time will tell when destiny will come charge them. i don't wish them any harm only the best.
