Michelle Obama knows how to work it even when wearing those dowdy commencement numbers. The fashion-forward First Lady picked up an honorary doctorate in public service from George Washington University in Washington, DC, on Sunday. Here's what else you missed ...

The stars were stylin' at the 63rd annual Cannes Film Festival, where Hollywood A-listers including Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Michael Douglas, Salma Hayek, Naomi Watts, Woody Allen, and Jennifer Hudson mixed, mingled, and, uh, watched some movies with international types like Aishwarya Rai, Pilar Lopez de Ayala, and Pedro Almodovar. But I've gotta ask: Who invited Audrina Patridge? You know, that brunette chick from the Hills?

More TV cancellation news: In a cold move, NBC axed fan favorite (and ratings loser) Heroes after four seasons. In its place you'll find the new superhero series The Cape in the mid-season. I'm looking forward to Outsourced, about a white guy sent to run a call center in India, and Love Bites, a Sex and the City-type show starring Ugly Betty's Becki Newton.

The pair were spied having dinner together in LA last week. "I'm dating around, hanging out with girls but not really dating," Bieber told Ellen. When Ellen pushed the issue, he continued to deny it. So he's got the media training down. Then they chatted about his hair. Watch Justin squirm when Ellen pulls the scissors on him. I promise, it'll make your Monday.
