Photo from People.comGreat news -- after suffering a brain hemorrhage last month, iconic rocker Bret Michaels has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
His doctor said he's one of the fortunate few who survived an ordeal like he did.
"He's just one of those lucky people -- 10 to 20 percent -- who make a complete recovery and can resume all of their normal activities," said Dr. Joseph Zabramski in a press conference earlier this week.
Michaels realizes his fortune and spoke to People about his new outlook on life and thoughts about marriage to his long-time girlfriend, Kristi Gibson: "As painful as this experience has been, I was given a second chance, right? I don't want to sit around every night worrying this is going to happen again. What I want to do is make a positive bucket list and say, 'I'm just gonna go for it.'"
"There's just so much more I want to do and experience," Michaels, 47, continued. "[Getting married], for sure, is something I have never done. Kristi's such a great person. We'll see if that happens. But yes, that may be one of the big things on the list."
Go for it, Bret!
He and Gibson have two daughters together -- Raine, 9, and Jorja, 5 -- and it'd be nice after all this time if he cast aside his bachelor ways and became a family man. Just think of the reality show that could be done around that ...
Besides, it'd be nice to know we'd never have to watch Rock of Love again!
