If the American Idol contestants aren't cutting it, at least the guests last night made it worth watching.

Lady Gaga, cloaked in a black fishnet body suit and flowing veil, did an incredible performance of "Alejandro" flanked by an army of hot, bare-chested male dancers.

Muy caliente!

There was also more hunky Harry Connick Jr. who performed and talked about when he met Frank Sinatra and played piano and bantered with Ellen and ... well, it was pretty much the Harry Connick Jr. Show.

And oh yeah, the contestants ... it's adios Aaron Kelly.

Though everyone thought Casey James should be the one to go (including James himself), America sent 17-year-old Kelly home. Even more surprising was that after a good performance last night of "The Way You Look Tonight," Michael Lynche joined Kelly in the bottom two.

Frankly, I'm not sure it really matters which one went first -- none of them seems to have any chance of wining. It's all about Crystal and Lee now.

What did you think of last night's American Idol?
