Now before you go and think, "Aww, that's sweet that he supports her," think again. He's not voting because he's impressed by his ex-wife's sad attempts at waltzing, he's doing it because he wants to keep her on the show so he can gain custody of their kids, which, he's filing legal papers for today.
I've heard of a lot of skeevy things in my life, but this one takes the cake. Can I retract my statement from yesterday saying that I think Jon might be right in filing for custody? Someone slap me for saying that, please.
But then again, if I was in that position ... heck, I'd do whatever it took to get my kids. A little voting for a reality TV show seems tame compared to what I'd be willing to do. I just don't know if his motives are more of the "just trying to be a good parent"-kind or the "just trying to make more money"-kind. It's hard to tell with these two.
Now granted, I know that his vote isn't going to make a difference, but how much do you want to bet that he's recruited others to vote for her as well?
Oh, I feel so torn.
What do you think of these new developments? Do you think it's fair (to both Kate and DWTS fans) that Jon is using the voting system for his own advantage?
