I'm inclined to believe her, but there's something about this story that just isn't sitting right with me ...
According to the lawsuit, Cherry hit her while filming the show in September 2008. The suit said he:
"... took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head ..."
She reported the incident to ABC, and Cherry responded by writing her character, Edie Britt, off the show.
And, apparently, at least according to the suit, Cherry was notorious for acting agressively and abusively toward the rest of the cast. Not cool, dude.
My question: If Sheridan reported the incident to ABC, why in the world didn't the studio do anything about it? Do they not have an HR department?
ABC is responding to the claim, telling Entertainment Tonight: "While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit."
So is there or isn't there an official complaint? I don't get it.
What do you think about Sheridan's $20 million suit?
