Tiger Woods Press Conference Reveals Nothing New

All morning I was anticipating today's Tiger Woods press conference, expecting him to shed some new light on the whole sex scandal, but the majority of it was about golf. And the exact same things he said in February's press conference. And more golf. Boring!

He kept details about the car accident as well as his rehab to a minimum, "I was in [rehab] for 45 days and it was to take a hard look at myself, and I did, and I've come out better. I'm certainly a much better person for it than I was going in."

And when asked what the rehab was for, he simply said, "That's personal, thank you."

He also denied thinking he needed therapy prior to the incident. So the thought never crossed his mind that he might have a slight problem while he was sexing it up with 10+ ladies ... really, Tiger? That's hard for me to believe.

Even if he is a sleazeball (and a mute one at that) the public has been quick to forgive him for his infidelity, "Coming into today, I didn't know what to expect with regards to the reception, and I tell you what, the galleries couldn't be nicer. I mean, it was just incredible. The encouragement that I got -- it blew me away to be honest with you. And the people here over the years, I know they are extremely respectful, but today was just something that really touched my heart."

Yeah, you got off real easy, buddy. I hope Elin is giving you a harder time than the public is.

Did you watch Tiger Woods' press conference? What did you think of it?
