My World 2.0 (Justin Bieber)

Sweet soul stylings and squeaky clean teen idol panache will have your kid swooning over this 16-year-old Canadian import and Usher protege, whose first full-length effort features hits-to-be like "U Smile" and the first single, "Baby," all delivered in a surprisingly strong, clear tenor.

Volume Two (She & Him)

Indie darling Zooey Deschanel -- she of film fare like (500) Days of Summer and fluffy cotton commercials -- and songwriting partner Matt Ward offer up a second disc of light, airy '60s-inspired retro-pop confections, including the piano-driven "Home" and "Don't Look Back." Worth a download is the mourning glory of "Thieves."

Still Standing (Monica)

After kicking off the year with a BET reality show bearing the same title, R&B singer -- recall her hits "For You I Will," "Angel of Mine," and "The Boy Is Mine," with pal Brandy -- kicks it old school on her first CD in two years. The Missy Elliott-produced “If You Were My Man (Betcha)" is a funky '80s throwback, and the hit first single, "Everything to Me," goes back deep with a Deniece Williams sample.
