As parents prepped lunches and served breakfast to the little ones Tuesday morning, Kids on Demand and Kids Preschool on Demand channels were serving up their own saucy nekkid ladies broadcasting inappropriate conversations to a G-rated audience.
Time Warner Cable officials did issue an apology for the programming mix-up due to "equipment failure" that affected cable subscribers in North Carolina. The really unfortunate timing (between 6:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.) means that plenty of households got a peek at some porn before they were able to tell the kids there would be no Dora that morning.
We totally let our pre-schooler watch a half hour show between those exact hours and we have Time Warner Cable and frequently use the Kids On Demand channels. So much so my husband and I can, and do, perform a stunning rendition of the "On Demand" song. It's in your head now, isn't it?
I'm glad we weren't in North Carolina yesterday because we would have had some explaining to do.
Did any of you see this "equipment failure?" What did you tell the kids?
