New Witness Says He Saw What Really Happened to Natalee Holloway

natalee hollowayIt's been 10 years since the disappearance of Natalee Holloway while on a high school seniot trip to Aruba, and her family continues to search for answers. And in a recent update and appearance on Inside Edition, her father, Dave Holloway, returns to Aruba in search of news and to follow up with a new witness, Jurrien de Jong, who is now claiming that he saw Natalee on the last night she was alive.

The witness says, "I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night she was alive. I was the eyewitness." He goes on to detail the exact memory, and notes that he "saw that Jordan was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space… I knew she was dead."

The witness finally decided to come forward with the 10-year-old information after seeing the undercover investigation in which suspected killer Jordan van der Sloot said Natalee had been buried at sea. Knowing what he saw that decade ago, he determined that to be false.

Van der Sloot, who was once a primary suspect, is now serving a 28-year sentence in Peru for the murder of college student Stephany Flores Ramírez.

The new news, whether it's true or not -- and investigators have said that they need at least two months to decipher it -- means that they're once again thrust into reliving that horrible news, 10 years ago. Let's hope they find the answers they need.
