Dad Reads 12-Year-Old Daughter's Email & Ends Up Busting Child Porn Ring (VIDEO)

Here's a guy who should win the Dad of the Year Award. Cliff Ford, of Toronto, Canada, keeps an eagle-eye on his 12-year-old daughter and her online activities. So much so that all of her emails are automatically forwarded to his phone, and he has all of her passwords to all of her accounts. One day, he says, she was innocently talking with someone on a message board, and then a few days later, she received an email saying, "Hey sexy." That's when Ford went into Papa Bear mode.

Instead of deleting the email or writing back a string of explosive expletives, Ford decided to do some detective work. He pretended to be his daughter and engaged the emailer in conversation. In fact, he told the emailer exactly how old "he" was -- 12. The response? "It turns me on a lot now knowing you are 12." Zoing!!! You can just imagine this dad's eyes popping out of his head when he saw that.

But he kept his cool. He wanted to see how far this stranger would go -- and how dangerous he might be. Good thing he did.

Soon, the stranger sent a video of himself. Ford opened it and was horrified to see that it was a video of the man masturbating. Ford told CBC News:

When he sent the attachment and I realized what it was, I had to shut it off because I could feel my blood boiling inside me knowing what this guy's intentions were.

It must have taken every ounce of strength he had not to reply with some choice words to that disgusting email. Instead, he kept luring the predator closer, trying to get information that would identify him. He eventually got all of the details, including his name and address. Sweet!

Finally, Ford was ready to put him on blast with the cops.

Police swooped in and arrested 30-year-old Nicholas Bowers, who lives in Akron, Ohio. Cops found that Ford's daughter wasn't the only one this predator was after -- he had a cache of child porn. He was also part of a large child pornography ring.

Bowers was sentenced to 20 years in prison. All thanks to a protective dad who is doing what a dad should be doing. If only all little girls were so lucky.

What would you have done?
