Man Accused of Killing Girlfriend & Bragging About Leaving Body for 13-Year-Old Son to Find

A man accused of killing his live-in girlfriend and then posting pictures of the murder scene to Internet message board 4chan has been arrested in Wilsonville, Oregon. David Kalac allegedly strangled his girlfriend, Amber Coplin, posted pictures of it, and then left the body for her 13-year-old son to come home from school and find.

Police say after Kalac killed his girlfriend, he posted pictures of the scene to 4chan with the message:

Check the news for Port Orchard, Washington in a few hours. Her son will be home from school soon. He'll find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before they find me. I bought a BB gun that looks realistic enough. When they come, I'll pull it and it will be suicide by cop. I understand the doubts. Just check the f**king news. I have to lose my phone now ... There will be no more me. Ever. You'll read about it. That's all.

He also reportedly wrote "She killed me first" on the bedroom wall, wrote "Dead" over her driver's license, and scrawled "Bad news" on the blinds.

He allegedly wrote that the woman had "put up a fight" and that killing her was "harder than seen on television." Police say the victim's son did indeed find his mother when he came home from school and then called his father, who called 911.

After fleeing the scene, Kalac reportedly walked into a police station in Oregon and turned himself in.

According to reports, he had bragged in his online messages about leaving the body to be discovered by her son. Despicable! Sounds like a man with no conscience whatsoever.

And how sick that he would reportedly post these photos online. People often brag about their crimes on social media, but it's hard to fathom someone taking photos of a gruesome murder and posting them as if they're something to be proud of. Ugh, what a terrible tragedy. That poor son.
