Natalee Holloway Suspect & Murderer Joran Van der Sloot Marries Pregnant Girlfriend

Her parents must be so proud. A woman actually married murderer Joran Van der Sloot, who is serving 28 years in a Peruvian prison for killing a woman he met in a casino, and who remains the main suspect in the 2005 disappearence of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. Not only that, the bride, a 24-year-old named Leidy Figueroa, is seven months pregnant with Van der Sloot's baby. Man, what a catch this woman has!

The ceremony took place inside the maximum security prison where Van der Sloot is serving his time. Reportedly, none of the groom's family attended. But the bride's mother was there. Oh, joy.

And Van der Sloot reportedly wore a suit and shoes sent by his mother. The two met while Figueroa was selling goods inside the prison. That's where she managed to get pregnant too. Guess things are a bit lackadaisacal inside the Peruvian prison.

While charges were never filed against Van der Sloot for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, he was the last person to admit seeing her alive. He did, however, murder Stephany Flores, who reportedly caught him in his hotel room conversing with Holloway's mother, from whom he reportedly took $25,000 to tell her where Holloway's body was. Something he never did.

What a guy, eh?

Perhaps the pickings are slim in Figueroa's town, and Van der Sloot was the best she could do. Hard to believe though. Stuff like this just makes you shake your head at how misguided some people can be.

Well, you can't say this woman doesn't know what she's getting into. Though if things go horribly wrong, she will probably claim she didn't!

What do you think of this?
