Kidnap Survivor Michelle Knight Opens Up About Ariel Castro to Dr. Phil (VIDEO)

Michelle KnightThe kidnapping of Michelle Knight, Gina DeJeusus, and Amanda Berry was one of the most horrifying news stories in decades. The three women were kept captive by Ariel Castro for more than a decade, forced into humiliating positions, sexually abused, and hidden from the outside world until Berry bravely asked a neighbor for help last spring. Now, Knight, the woman who was held the longest, is speaking out and in a two-part interview with Dr. Phil McGraw that will air both Tuesday and Wednesday next week, we will hear the real story.

Castro, who died September third in prison, is no longer a threat to Knight, but her years of captivity have obviously scarred her for the rest of her life.

Her story is so moving, even the normally stoic Dr. Phil became emotional when talking about it. He said:

When you listen to her describe the horrible living conditions and how she was treated, you wonder how anymore lasted a day let alone more than a decade.  In the 12 years of doing the Dr. Phil Show, no one has changed me like Michelle Knight and her story of survival.

She is expected to detail her years of captivity on the show, including the long periods of time where she was chained up. There were other times a motorcycle helmet covered her head and if she tried to speak or scream or cry for help, Castro covered her mouth with duct tape.

Knight also said she was abused mentally, physically, and sexually and was "tied up like a fish" for hours on end. It's hard to imagine how she endured and all of our hearts break for her.

She deserves nothing but good in her life from now on. The interview will air Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
