[UPDATED] The aftermath of George Zimmerman's trial continues to unfold in a bizarre manner. Just last week Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, filed for divorce and gave a television interview. And right now George Zimmerman is in custody for an incident involving a gun -- again. So far he has not actually been arrested. At the moment, police are trying to find out what exactly happened. What we do know is that police responded to a call from Shellie, who claimed George was threatening her and her father with a gun. The incident occurred at Shellie's parents' home.

WKMG in Orlando reports the following:

According to Chief Steve Bracknell, Shellie Zimmerman called 911 claiming George Zimmerman had a gun and was making threats. The victims are not speaking to police and were waiting for their attorney to arrive, Bracknell said. As of 3:20 p.m., no arrests have been made.

The news affiliate also points out that since his trial, George Zimmerman has been pulled over twice for speeding. In a phone interview, Chief Bracknell said Zimmerman was in "investigative detention." Deputy Chief Colin Morgan told Fox News that Zimmerman was "being held handcuffed in the back of a police cruiser until probable cause is established for an arrest." Officers are still on the scene at Shellie's parents' home, where a TMZ photo shows Zimmerman's truck is still parked.

Police say a gun was found at the Lake Mary home, but that it was not part of the altercation.

Meanwhile, George Zimmerman's brother, Robert, just tweeted, "we've learned from GZ case not to 'jump to conclusions,' to wait for facts 7 to avoid speculation. 'News' is a business -- not your friend." We all have our own opinions about the facts concerning George Zimmerman's incident with Trayvon Marton, and it's hard for that not to color our perception of this new, developing story. But as Chief Bracknell points out, they've only heard one side of this story so far. We'll have to wait for more details.

[UPDATE] TMZ has obtained audio of Shellie Zimmerman's 911 call. In the call she tells the dispatcher that George punched her father in the nose, smashed her iPad, and cut it with a razor. In the call Shellie mentions seeing a woman in Zimmerman's truck. Zimmerman has since left the scene of the incident and was not arrested.

Are you surprised to hear George Zimmerman is in the news again so soon?
