Casey Anthony's Recent Dinner Out Means She's No Longer Afraid

For the first time since Casey Anthony was spotted walking around Ohio shortly after her acquittal in the murder of her daughter, Caylee, she's been spotted in public. An eagle-eyed restaurant customer snapped a photo of what appears to be Casey eating a meal at a restaurant in Florida with a private investigator who worked on her case. And another source confirmed that it indeed was Casey. Of course, the one question we all want to know is, what did she eat? Hahah. Just kidding. (It was hot wings.) No, what we really all want to know is -- does Casey feel safe enough that she can go on about her business in FLORIDA of all places? Well ... it looks like it!

Since being found not guilty, Casey has been voted the "most hated woman in America," and has been in hiding. But if this picture is really her, she's now hiding in plain sight. The restaurant wouldn't confirm her identity, but their non-denial sure sounds like a confirmation. Said the manager of Flanigans's Seafood Bar and Grill in Lake Worth to MailOnline:

There's a bunch of stink about that, and it doesn’t seem to be doing anybody any good, so we’re not going to comment one way or the other.

So that's a yes? Witnesses said Casey, if it was indeed her, never spoke to the servers or other customers, and only came into the restaurant once her dinner companions made sure the table was ready.

If this was her, it's a pretty good indication that Casey and her team are feeling more confident about her appearing in public and getting back to a semblance of normalcy. That she's no longer fearing for her life. I wonder if the public is going to go along with that. Certainly, they should. I don't care how angry you are about what you feel is an injustice, the legal system, whether right or wrong, found Casey not guilty, so not guilty she is. Though it seems bizarre she wouldn't want to leave Florida.

It would do no one any good to avenge Caylee -- other than to land yourself in prison. There are all kinds of injustices in the world. This is just one of millions that happen all over the globe every day. Crusaders for justice might do well to find another injustice -- maybe one they can actually legally do something to correct -- to focus on.

Do you think Casey should be allowed to get on with her life?
