Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's Wife Reveals Miscarriage After His Prison Release
Pregnancy loss is never easy to navigate, and our hearts are with this family. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his wife suffered a miscarriage after conceiving not too long ago. The couple is opening up about their "heartwrenching" experience in hopes of shining a light and healing through the grieving process.
Mike and Lauren revealed on 'Strahan, Sara, and Keke' they conceived after the 'Jersey Shore' star's prison release.
Back in September, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino became a free man again after being released from prison. The reality star served eight months behind bars after pleading guilty to tax evasion charges in January 2018.
"The night he came home, we actually conceived," Lauren said. "And then at about six-and-a-half, seven weeks, I miscarried."
Mike and Lauren, who dated in college, rekindled things back in 2012 and have been together ever since. The couple said "I do" last November, just months before Mike turned himself in to begin his eight-month prison sentence.
Through their grief, Lauren and Mike hope their experience will help others facing similar situations.
"I didn't want to hold this in. I wanted to share it for other people going through it and just be honest so I can kind of heal through the process," Lauren added.
Sadly, pregnancy loss is quite common as celeb mom Hilaria Baldwin is opening up about her second miscarriage this year.
