For every reality star who faded into oblivion over the years, there’s another one (or five) who has become a legitimate-ish celebrity in the process. Especially lately, social media obviously makes it easier for TV stars to turn their personal brands into full-on lucrative businesses. But lots of reality stars make their money beyond just shilling weight-loss tea and self-tanners on Instagram. So many who may have been destined to have just 15 minutes of fame on a short-lived show have figured out how to capitalize on their notoriety and expand their fan bases for the long haul.

(And we always come back for more!)

This extended stardom happens all the time, even after a reality star's show ends -- or said reality star leaves said show voluntarily for a spin-off!

The reality stars on our list have a whole new type of hustle. Why? Because they just so happen to be parents, too, giving a whole new meaning to the term mommy (and daddy) moguls. Whether they build million-dollar companies from the ground up, launch beauty brands or lifestyle companies (or clothing lines), and/or landed their own show, we are beyond impressed by these celeb moms and dads for keeping their careers -- as well as their time in the spotlight -- going strong.

Click on to check out which reality star parents continue to make their mark years after their big TV debuts, and why they're so remarkable. It's been hard to look away, so we're not even going to fight it anymore.

  • Kim Kardashian West

    1

Is there anything Kim Kardashian hasn't done at this point as far as her business is concerned? The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and mom of three has her own line of emojis, a video game, a beauty brand, a fragrance line, and multiple high-fashion endorsements.

... Seriously, we've lost count of Kiki’s money-making accomplishments through the years.

  • Kylie Jenner

    2

Kylie Jenner isn't doing too bad, either. The 21-year-old is on target to become the youngest "self-made" billionaire ever, thanks to her astronomically lucrative beauty line, Kylie Cosmetics. She's also a brand ambassador for Adidas, a model for high-fashion campaigns -- like Calvin Klein (with her sisters) -- and of course, a new mom to daughter Stormi.

  • Kristin Cavallari

    3

Life post Laguna Beach and The Hills life has been good to Kristin Cavallari. The mom of three has her own shoe line with Chinese Laundry, a cookbook called True Roots, and a Nashville-based jewelry and home goods line, dubbed Uncommon James. She also helps with awards show red carpet coverage on E! News, which likely helped her land her new reality series on the network, Very Cavallari.

  • Lauren Conrad

    4

None of The Hills ladies has turned her 15 minutes of fame into a lifetime of star power quite like LC has. A style book, a series of chick-lit novels, and multiple clothing and accessories collections sold nationwide at Kohl's -- blossoming into a best-selling clothing brand -- a nonprofit company, and a lifestyle blog that touts her lifestyle company are some of Lauren Conrad's many accolades.

Yeah, we'd say Lauren is the definition of mommy mogul.

  • Khloe Kardashian

    5

Khloe Kardashian, new mom to daughter True, also has quite a few businesses that have stemmed from the family's reality show. Let's see, there's her jeans line, Good American, her spin-off show, Revenge Body, and her memoir, Strong Looks Better Naked, to name a few.

  • Kate Gosselin

    6

Love her or hate her, Kate Gosselin has managed to keep herself relevant, even though she and then-husband Jon Gosselin's reality show (and marriage) ended almost a decade ago. The mama of eight has appeared on a number of reality shows since -- including The Apprentice, the Kate Plus 8 spin-off, and the upcoming show, Kate Plus Date.

  • Mama June Shannon

    7

Mama June was just another TV pageant mom when her daughter, Honey Boo Boo, appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras. Her family resonated with fans so much, they eventually got their own show (Here Comes Honey Boo Boo) which also led to Mama June and ex Sugar Bear's stint on Marriage Boot Camp. June has kept her name in the headlines as her reality show, Mama June: From Not to Hot, documents her dramatic weight loss, her new love (boyfriend Geno Doak), and all the craziness that comes with her family.

  • Kim Zolciak-Biermann

    8

Kim Zolciak-Biermann got her start on Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, which led to multiple successful seasons of Don't Be Tardy, her spin-off with her husband, Kroy Biermann, and their six children. (And let's not forget Kimmy's brief stint on Dancing With The Stars!) Outside of reality TV, Kim's got her own beauty line called Kashmere Kollection, her House of Kim podcast ... and, not for nothing, a super hilarious Snapchat account that has us LOLing for hours.

  • Bethenny Frankel

    9
Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel is another reality star who branched out in an extraordinary way from the show. The single mom to daughter Bryn has built a billion-dollar empire with her company, Skinnygirl, that started as a line of low-calorie alcoholic drinks but has since expanded to food, clothing, and pretty much everything else imaginable.
  • Teresa Giudice

    10

Teresa Giudice has admitted her businesses took a hit since she got out of prison. Still, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star has built a culinary empire with a series of best-selling Italian cookbooks and a prosecco called Fabellini. She also made bank on her post-prison memoir, Turning the Tables, and launched a hair care line, Milania Hair Care, named after her third (and sassiest) daughter. Recently, Tre started competing in local bodybuilding competitions!

  • Chip & Joanna Gaines

    11

What began as a reality show about house-flipping in Texas (we still yearn for Fixer Upper) has turned into a mega-million dollar business. Chip and Joanna Gaines now have books, blogs, websites, a magazine, a bed and breakfast, a restaurant, and their own home decor line at Target -- among other things.

    Overachievers much?

  • Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt

    12

Sure, Heidi and Spencer Pratt, parents to 1-year-old son Gunner, have made a few not-so-great business decisions. (Remember Heidi’s short-lived music career?) But ultimately, things worked out for Speidi. They've appeared on dozens of reality shows after The Hills, started their own popular podcast hilariously titled Make Speidi Famous Again, and basically make their living by being serial reality stars (and Snapchat stars). Whatever works!

Oh yeah, and they're returning for The Hills reboot called The Hills: New Beginnings.

  • Cardi B

    13

It’s easy to forget that Cardi B got her start on Love & Hip Hop: New York, given how much she's blown up in the past year or so. Kulture's mama is arguably the franchise's most successful (and mainstream) rapper, having garnered tons of major award noms -- including VMAs, Grammys, and BET Awards. She's also breaking Billboard charts and records, and, honestly, is totally changing the rap game, slowly but surely.

    Get it, mama.

  • Farrah Abraham

    14

Farrah Abraham is no longer a reality TV star, as she and MTV parted ways last season on Teen Mom OG. But as a result of the show, and its predecessor, 16 & Pregnant, Farrah wrote some books and launched her own furniture store, frozen yogurt shop, and children's boutique near her home in Texas. Oh, and let's not forget her sex tape, her sex toys, and her trilogy of erotic novels.

Hey, we said everyone on this list was successful. We didn't say everyone was PG-rated ...

  • Snooki & JWoww

    15

Snooki and JWoww both extended their fame from the Jersey Shore by writing a few books and launching a line of tanning products, among other business moves, because, obviously. But the moms of two have really grown their personal brands in the subsequent years, once landing their own MTV spin-off show, and, eventually, their own mom-centric show on YouTube that they film with their kids. The ultra crafty Nicole (Snooki) has her own online boutique and an Etsy shop, too.

  • Pauly D

    16

Like his female Jersey Shore co-stars, Pauly D is a bona fide papa mogul. Aside from his reality TV stardom (in addition to Jersey Shore, and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, he's currently starring on Marriage Boot Camp with his ex, Aubrey O’Day), Pauly D spins as a DJ across the world and was named to Forbes' list of most successful DJs.

  • Ali Fedotowsky

    17

Former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky has undeniably become one of the franchise's most successful leads ever. Ali, who recently became a mom of two, has a popular fashion blog, served as a correspondent on E! News, and is now the lifestyle expert on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, among other fun gigs.

  • Jillian Harris

    18

Like Ali, this former Bachelorette has a lucrative fashion and lifestyle blog and is still working in TV as the host of HGTV's Love it or List It Vancouver. Jillian Harris is also an experienced interior designer (a passion she began exploring before The Bachelor) that's only intensified since she became "famous."

  • Kendra Wilkinson

    19

Kendra Wilkinson's career started similarly to how Farrah's evolved: She was the obvious favorite on Girls Next Door, a former E! reality show chronicling Playboy playmates' life with Hugh Hefner in the Playboy mansion. That series led to Kendra's own eponymous spin-off -- eventually her second spin-off Kendra on Top -- and a number of stints on Marriage Boot Camp (with both her ex, Hank Baskett, and her mom) than we can remember.

  • Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin

    20

Remember in 2001, when Mike was on The Real World? (Probably not.) Since then, he's become a bona fide star, working as a wrestler in WWE (and as a competitor), and eventually a host on seasons of MTV's The Challenge. Now, he and his wife Maryse have their own reality series titled Miz and Mrs. that chronicles their lives as newlyweds and new parents.

  • Brie Bella

    21

Brie Bella is another WWE parent who's turned her wrestling career into a full-blown business. Brie and her twin sister, Nikki Bella (both ladies star on both Total Divas and their spin-off, Total Bellas) have a successful YouTube channel, their own wine collection, and co-own Birdiebee, an empowering clothing company with a mission that is all about female health and empowerment. (And yes, the brand is named for Brie's daughter, Birdie.)

  • Tami Roman

    22

The Real World (she was on the first-ever season!), Basketball Wives, and Marriage Boot Camp are just a few of the hit reality shows on which Tami Roman has appeared. But Tami, who has two grown daughters, has found success beyond reality TV -- with her own late night talk show on VH1, a cosmetics line, and Bonnet Chronicles, an online series where Tami vents about life and urges fans and guests to do the same -- creating the opportunity for her to tour he country as a stand-up comedian.

  • Eva Marcille

    23

Eva Marcille, then known as Eva Pigford, got her humble start as the winner of America's Next Top Model's third season. From there, the now-mom of two went on to have a lucrative acting career -- including a multiple-season arc on The Young and the Restless -- and now stars on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
