No matter how many years go by, the same controversial topics of the past will prove to be the same controversial topics of today. Coco Austin still breastfeeds her daughter, Chanel, and doesn't plan on stopping any time soon -- even if she turns 10. And as you can imagine, peeps have a few things to say about it and are sounding off.

  • Coco recently opened up to OK! magazine about life as a mom.

Coco Austin and her hubby, Ice T, welcomed their daughter, Coco Chanel, back in November 2015.

  • "We're still breastfeeding," she revealed during her interview about Chanel, who will turn 3 in November.

"I love it! I'm going to be one of those mothers, and I hate to say it. [She'll] be like 10 years old, and I'll be on the computer, and she'll grab my boob. I just love it so much. It's just the moment after holding her, and she's needing me. I like that power that I have over her. She needs my boob. When she doesn't need the boob, she doesn't need me. I'm just like, let her have it.

They say to only breastfeed the baby for two years -- that's what they've been saying to me. I'm so sick of people telling me that. 'Cause that's during the time when they need their nutrition, and then they start eating food. But in European cities, they're breastfeeding until 7-, 8-years-old. I get females all around the world telling me that this is something that's not weird. [They ask] 'why do you guys have to normalize breastfeeding?'

  • And she doesn't give a flip what anyone thinks about it.

"Think about thousands of years ago," the breastfeeding celeb mom continued in her interview. "We didn't have food, we only had milk. They were taking in the milk for many years."

"I just think there's more of a bond connection. She's not really needing me to eat food at all, 'cause she has teeth. It's more of a comfort thing. She needs me more of those times when she wants mommy, or the nap times, or going to bed .... I don't have a set date [on when I'll stop breastfeeding]. I feel like, when she's old enough, [she'll say], 'you know what, Mom, I don't need this anymore.'"

  • Welp, people appear to care and can't help but comment about how "wrong" Coco's actions are.

This isn't the first time critics thought it's "digusting" Coco still breastfeeds.

  • But do they really have a say?

That answers looks to be no.
