Kat Von D Called a 'Home-Wrecker' After Revealing She's Expecting Her First Child

Kat Von D

We've seen a number of celebrity pregnancy announcements in our day ... but this one has folks hating on it hard. In case you haven't heard, Kat Von D is expecting her first child with her husband Leafar Seyer. She announced her baby news on social media, and it's turning heads and pissing off a number of people -- inspiring some to call her a "home-wrecker." (Oof.)

  • Kat took to the 'Gram to share the happy news and reveal the baby's gender.

"It's a boy," the 36-year-old celeb mom-to-be writes in her Instagram post.

The reaction is mixed, but at least there's some positivity in the world.

  • And fans are very surprised, considering Kat said in the past she didn't want kids.

"The funny thing is that I've known since I was 7 years old that I was never going to have kids. I always imagined myself as this worldly, traveling, gypsy lady," Kat once told Dr. Drew, People reports. "I love children, kids love me, but I think I'd made a really good buddy. I don't know if I'd be a bad mom, but it's not what I want. I don't want to put my body through it."

Welp, all of that is going to change, as Kat and her musician hubby Leafar -- who said "I do" back in February -- are expecting their first child.

  • Others, however, aren't excited and are calling her out for "breaking up" Sandra Bullock and Jesse James's marriage.

  • Folks are actually labeling her a "home-wrecker."

  • ... which is so wrong in so many ways.

  • While Kat did date Jesse at one point, folks are confusing this tattoo artist with Michelle McGee, who started messing with James while he was still married.

Kat Von D and Jesse James were once engaged (before calling the whole thing off), which happened after Jesse and Sandra Bullock split.

So if you're gonna give the side-eye, it would probably be best to do it about something else -- like Kat reportedly accepting a business sponsor with ties to white supremacy and anti-Semitism, or Kat drawing a swastika on an autograph.

  • It seems people can't help but find a reason to hate on Kat's baby announcement and her baby-son-to-be's name: Leafar.

Kat's husband Leafar, 42 -- whose real name is Rafael, which is "Leafar" spelled backwards -- revealed their baby name choice on Instagram, saying, "I love you @thekatvond and I'm ready to be a father to our son Leafar."

  • You do realize it's okay to say something nice or nothing at all, right?

Even if you have an issue with Kat Von D, it doesn't require a ton of energy to keep calm and carry on with your life without having to stoop to a low place.
