Back in November 2017, Carrie Underwood had a pretty serious fall in her home. After tripping down the stairs, the 34-year-old country singer was taken to the hospital where she received wrist surgery and over 40 stitches in her face. Now, after taking some time away to heal, Carrie has posted a rare selfie on social media.
  • The selfie of Carrie also features her husband, Mike Fisher, as they show their support for the END IT Movement.

    She captioned the photo:

"Together, we’re in it to end it! Help us shine a light on modern day slavery. @enditmovement #enditmovement."

Although Carrie's face is not fully visible, it's nice that she decided to post in honor of a good cause.

  • Carrie previously said Mike was "the best hubby in the world" for taking care of her after her accident.

  • The only other selfie fans have seen on Carrie's social media was this one posted at the end of December, but most of her face was covered up in this one as well.

  • There was, however, a photo of Carrie posted by reality star Adrienne Gang on Twitter earlier that month.

In the photo, there is actually no sign of Carrie's injuries. It's unclear whether or not the image was altered.

  • In January, Carrie said her wrist was "good to go," so hopefully we'll be seeing more of her, since her face is probably healing up as well!

Carrie captioned the photo of her X-ray:

"Last check up on the old wrist this morning!! Thanks, Dr. Wurth and my PT angel, Renee, a.k.a. 'Bulldog' for fixing me up!!! I'm good to go!"

  • We're so glad you're feeling better, Carrie!
